history
The path to establishment of UHG was originated in 1999, through the launch of Evergreen Place Building
(renamed Evergreen Place Siam). It was considered one of the first mixed-use high-rise complexes in the country at the time,
integrating office spaces, retail spaces, and long-term residential spaces under the same roof.
Visioning globalization and urbanization trends as well as the rise of Thailand tourism industry,
UHG began to focus on business and leisure travelers while foreseeing greater potential of Bangkok as office and retail hub.
The group has then acquired a hotel license for its first property, and has been expanding successfully not only into
hospitality development but also into office and commercial buildings in major corners of Bangkok.
As of 2019, UHG oversees a total of 13 projects, and has maintained its position as one of the largest hotel owners and operators in the city.
This passion has shaped UHG’s mission and philosophy of how the group strives to
offer state-of-the-art design and function, and international standard services with local touch, all within affordable budget range
in order to set new benchmark for urban lifestyle offerings.
